《Raging Vol. 005 怪奇生物志》将目光聚焦到了“动物”这一主题，本期的主题与珍珠鼻涕虫的诞生及命名息息相关，讨论动物和怪物们被赋予的意义、言语和爱憎。八位受邀艺术家分别以戏服设计、新媒体、纤维艺术、插画、漫画等媒介参与对“动物性“和“怪物性“的探讨，呈现出融合了迥异风格与奇思妙想的全新一期Raging。本期Raging还包括一份罗列了各种怪奇生物的“目击图鉴”，和新增加的书店街专栏，介绍Raging编辑们曾邂逅的世界各地的书店们。


The theme of this issue is closely related to the birth and naming of the "Pearl Slug”, delving into the meanings, language, and emotions attributed to animals and monsters. Eight invited artists engage in discussions on "animality" and "monstrosity" through mediums such as costume design, new media, fiber art, illustration, and comics, presenting a new issue of Raging that combines diverse styles and imaginative ideas. In this issue, a "Field Guide" that lists various bizarre creatures is included, as well as a newly added column: “Bookstore Street”, introducing the bookstores around the world that the Raging editors have encountered.
